Boston, Mass. - The Boston Celtics have acquired All-Star guard Jrue Holiday from the Portland Trail Blazers in a trade that sends guard Damian Lillard to Milwaukee.
Holiday, a four-time All-Star, was traded to the Blazers from the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday as part of the deal that brought Lillard to Wisconsin.
The Celtics are expected to announce the signing of Holiday to a four-year, $135 million contract extension on Friday.
Holiday, 31, is averaging 18.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game this season.
